This is a video of my Offensive Line drills from this spring. My double screen drill didn’t look good so I cut it. But there’s blocking circuit, fit and finish, 2×2 base, zone, and combo blocking, and drive-catch pass protection drills as well.

I have over a dozen years of offensive line coaching experience at the high school level. I have coached both the D1 kids, D2, D3, NAIA, as well as the typical high school freshman player and varsity back-ups.

Ironman Football Blog Offense 2018

“Meaningful-Specific versus Wandering-Generalities”

I heard Bruce Prichard use this phrase on his podcast “Something to Wrestle” and it hit home. This is what your offense (and for that matter, every aspect of your football program) should debate. You always want your program to be meaningful and specific versus wandering and in generalities.

The Ironman Football Blog Offense 2018 is meaningful and specific. It will guide you to the right place, and tell you why you’re going there. It includes a 24 play cut-up with a script (PDF format) and the playbook itself (PDF format) which includes: install, formations, motions/shifts, RPO’s, quick game, running game, 5-step drops, sprint outs, pass protections and play-actions.
